With one foot in the 80′s and the other in the future, Casio Boy is a story of teenage alienation set in a futuristic dreamland. Video-game synth lines are layered on top of an infectous driving beat that compliments the buzzy bass line. Lead signer Timothy Monkiewicz’s vocals start off soft and sentimental and later explode into an urgent group harmony, echoing the tumuptuous fireworks that define our highshcool years.
